and everything was bursting with lively flavors.

Green Bean Mallum – sliced green beans cooked with grated coconut, onions, garlic, ginger, and mustard seeds

Dahl – masoor dahl tempered with onion, curry leaves, cumin, and mustard seed

Papadam – crispy fried crackers made from lentil flour

Jackfruit – tender, chunky, flaky, and spicy

Winter Melon Curry – winter melon simmered in a light coconut gravy with onions, green chilies, grated coconut, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and rampe

Tempered Mustard Greens – mustard greens stir-fried in coconut oil with onions, green chilies, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and rampe

Pol Sambol – fresh grated coconut with onion, crushed dry chilies, and lime

Deviled Sweet Potatoes – sweet potatoes stir-fried in coconut oil with onions, curry leaves, garlic, green chilies, mustard seeds, and cumin

Yellow Rice – basmati rice cooked with rampe, coconut oil, vegetable broth, and saffron (center)
