Delicious! Nice and creamy. Prawn tastes ordinary, like typical mock prawn. They give you a

Was here the other night out with a friend to try their new plant-based laksa

mazesoba on the menu. It was a collaboration between growthwell with their rendention of the mock prawns and fishcake. (Pardon the lighting as I was too eager to eat haha.)

To be honest, I didnt had high expectations at first because I dont usually go for mock meats in general however, this prove me wrong. Firstly, the broth was really rich in laksa flavour which bumps a notch. The mock prawns and fishcakes were actually not that bad, the taste and texture mimics that of fish cake and much better than greendot imo. Aside from the mock stuff, they also serve it with their plant-based soymeat inari beancurd skins, straw mushrooms and cucumbers for additional crunch. I would say the laksa sauce goes well with everything (including the ramen) in this bowl. The sambal chili brings the spiciness up a notch too without being too overwhelming.

I would suggest to add some vinegar while eating it to bump up the flavour and reduce the gelakness of the sauce. I think the regular bowl would be sufficient enough for everyone to leave some room for their scoop of rice to go with the sauce at the end :)
