The matcha taste is pretty strong & the cream is buttery yet not cloying &
light on the palate :’) The cake layers are pretty moist as well! :)

Stoked to find an affordable and pretty vegan cake like this, and they allowed me
to use my own container so yay! However like the coffee cake I found the cake sponge dry, so it didn’t feel as creamy though there was a lot of cream. The pretty decorations on top also didn’t have much taste. Matcha taste wasn’t that strong, would appreciate a stronger flavor.
The sponge bit of the cake was a bit dryer than I anticipated. The cream
was not too heavy which felt good. Matcha taste was not very obvious. Decorative toppings felt a bit weird to eat haha nonetheless very affordable for a slice of matcha cake. I wish I have this bakery in my neighborhood...They had other cake flavours too, might try to red velvet next time!
