$9.90+. Love how they made it look like thereā€™s egg using taukwa! Good amount of

veg too. Would be great if it was less oily. The lime came uncut so I had to poke it with a fork??
Canā€™t believe Loving Hut is closing down! Then again, with so many vegan options around now I never thought to come to Loving Hut the past few years lol. This place was a haven when I first went vegan, for eating with family and getting to meet others when there were vegan events held there :ā€™)

Rather enthusiastic about that Char Kway Teow! First time trying this dish so I donā€™t

have much to compare it with, but I felt like all ingredients were good and went really well together and with the sauce. The waitress asked us if we wanted some chili so we went for the ā€™little spicyā€™ version and it was just the right amount of spicy for me!
The dish is quite filling! It comes with a little herbal soup and spring roll šŸ˜
My Singaporean (non vegan) friend even told me she preferred this version to the traditional (non vegan) one, so I guess itā€™s worth giving it a try! Costed me $9.90 if I remember well.

Loving hut has ceased operations. I went there few days before they were closed for

good. It didnā€™t have the Laska I wanted and was recommended Char Kway Teow.

I donā€™t really like Char Kway Teow because it is often so oily and too sweet from the black sweet sauce that was added. Since the staff recommended, I decided to order it.

True to her words, this dish was really delicious. It is light and not oily. It was not sweet at all from the dark sauce. It was really good šŸ‘šŸ» Finally a chef who managed to cook it so well.

First trip to loving hut and we ordered its signature fried char kuay teow. Currently

my fave vegan char kuay teow, even nicer than those non-vegan (with eggs!!) šŸ˜‹

One of loving hut's signature dish that won me over with just my first bite

(and I didnt ecen had it pipping hot!). I requested for extra spicy and it was even spicy for me. Wok-hei flavour was sufficient without being oily (in fact I think more oil can even be used :p) The spring roll on the other hand could have been served more crispy. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable meal and of good value as well because the portion was big that I had to packed some remaining back.

Hahaha! The staff said we really ate finished everything šŸ˜‚

realize we ordered this for every visit! This really yummy šŸ˜‹

This was delicious and reminded me of the more savoury Penang-style Char Kway Teow than

the sweeter Singapore-style. A great weekend treat!

Love the Char Kway Teow, nicely charred with a hint of spiciness. Even the sides

are good. Portion is huge so worth every penny!
