Yum yum yum yum. $18+ after service charge, a little pricey, but it was quite

delicious!
The photo doesn’t do it much justice. The sauce is little more red than brown.
Anyways, it was nice and saucey. They used their special sauce. It tastes a little like Dan Dan Mian sauce?

Lots of vegetables and mushroom. Nice tempeh slices. The noodle is perfectly cooked, soft and springy.

Good job on this noodle. It is delicious!
Presentation is done well too.

Fresh and well cooked ingredients filled with whole foods like mushroom and tempeh

The noodles have good texture, even though it was in part made with Chinese yam.

Nice flavour, especially with the tempeh, and not oil heavy. I'm not sure if everything is organic? That might explain the price point for the portion. On that same note, would be great to work on the presentation. #vegannoodles #veganinsingapore #vegan

not bad, can give an option to add mala sauce yknow?! ahahaha and it will

be perfect for me coz i love a good mala sauce with knife cut noodles mmm yum but overall not bad, pretty filling hehe. had it with a super good matcha latte.

My new favourite dish at lilac oak. Delicious umami flavour with a hint of spice

First time trying noodles made using Chinese yam shan yao, which has lots of herbal

properties in TCM! (Heard that this dish was in fact inspired by the owner/chef's confinement meals!) The soft and smooth noodles were stir-fried with juicy oyster mushrooms, along with grated carrots, bok choy, and sliced tempeh in a special sauce with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Really flavourful and with a generous amount of ingredients, but without the grease that I usually associate with Chinese-style dishes. Highly recommend! ($14.90)
