We love po' boys, so we had to try the po' boy bun! Between the

pillow soft bao bun is crispy cauliflower, Sriracha aioli, sesame seed, and coleslaw. I love slaw so I really liked that addition. I think I would have preferred the "meat" to be something other than cauliflower because I really prefer tofu or mushroom po' boys. It makes sense that it's cauliflower though because they cover all the bases with the buns; the other two options feature tofu and mushroom. Despite the Sriracha aioli, I don't think this was spicy. I'm not sure if my spice receptors are damaged, or maybe Ladybird steers away from spice in their dishes. I don't mind! Just know to not be turned off from any possible heat on their menu.

Ladybird is a fun fully vegan restaurant in NYC. It’s a great spot for a

date night or dinner with a friend! We got the bao buns, mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts, and their “chicken” special and it was all very good! 💜

This was pretty tasty. I loved the flavor of the aioli and the bao bun had a good texture. Fluffy, yet moist. The atmosphere at this place is amazing. Super cute decor and great modern and smooth R&B music (think HER and Jasmine Sullivan). Great date spot.
