children came to the rescue to make this dish at least a bit more aesthetically pleasing 🤌 The base of this #ulam, kind of like a salad, is daun selom - a kind of parsley 🌿 and ulam raja - a local traditional herb with many purported benefits including the ability to improve the insulin levels of diabetes patients! That’s the spiky looking one, if you’re wondering 😄 The main of this dish is their amazing #tempeh chips with a sprinkle of pomegranate and #anchovies on the side. As is quite common with many such dishes, it’s served with calamansi lime to bring out the herby flavours of its #salad base and to make the salty of their #tempehchips even more savourable 😋 I’d honestly have this any day!
