My friends and I ordered this, confusing it for their “Umami Bomb” from their brunch
menu that we had several months before on a previous trip to KL also for one of the amazing local queer events 🏳️🌈 The format is the same though, #tapas style 🤏 A block of their amazing #tofu & a slice of cucumber 🥒 make the mains of this tapas as they sit on a shell of fried rice paper & #seaweed 🐟 It reminded me of the taco I had in Penang! They top the tofu with tomato #sambal, vegan anchovies, and just a sprinkle of sesame seeds 🦜 It’s just mouthable in my opinion, but not without effort. My slitherine friends had no problem however, unhinging their jaws to eat the thing whole 🐍 I literally could never 💅 I honestly liked it cause I’ll take #spicy any day & their sambal gets it juuusssttt right 🤌 It wasn’t a favourite for everyone but they add that that’s only because they’re spoiled by the even better “Umami Bomb” 🤭 At RM20 for 4 servings, I’d actually say it’s not bad 😇 #malaysianeats #centipedesofabv
