Confession 🤭 I don’t actually know if this was their #nasipadang dish since it’s been
quite a while since I had it (2.5k photos in my backlog and counting) 🫣 It is the closest match to what seems to be on the menu with their #laukpauk randoms 🥬 All I can recall is that the #rendang they used, probably by Green Rebel Foods, was absolutely delicious! I’ve been disappointed by so many sweet Chinese-style rendang at vegetarian outlets which while still good just doesn’t speak to me as much. This one nails the texture, the mild heat, and the #savoury 😋 The #sambal they pair their dishes with is awesome as always too! I’d prefer it a bit more #spicy but 1. I always do 🥵 and 2. Any more spicy @m1tch9i might not’ve been able to share this with me 🤗 I don’t know if this has since been renamed or refreshed on their new menu as this is yet another #throwback review, but if you have RM35 to spare I’d highly recommend it 😙 #malaysianeats #throwbackthursday
