My meal comprised of curried mock fish, cabbage and mushroom. I ordered it at

around 3.30pm when they were almost closing, so perhaps that was why the rice was rather clumpy and the dishes on the cold side. Other than that, the food was delicious, complemented by a generous dash of chilli.

I’ve done #takeout from this place a number of times but the only photos I

seem to have are of the times I actually ate their food at the stall 😅 For today’s lunch I tried their #curry for the first time after clarifying that it is indeed vegan 🌱 That’s my main qualm with this stall to be honest compared to the plenty other vegan hawkers around in other food courts. Why not just #droptheegg and end the needless cycle of suffering? 😕 The food’s alright and they have a pretty standard selection of items but in spite of the stall’s name I won’t label its food quite #healthy yet 😉 so. much. oil. 😐

Tried their mixed veg rice today. Got fungus, sweet & sour fish, belachan beans. The

fish and fungus taste rather bland. The beans are ok but was expecting a spicier version to go along with rice.

I have had the mixed veg rice twice and on both occasions, I have found

the taste of the vegetable not to my liking. But overall it's a good place to grab a quick affordable lunch. I paid $4.50 for my meal.

P.S. Consider bringing your own cutlery as the shop only provides disposable cutlery.

This was disappointing overall. The brown rice was finished so I took white rice, but

it was stale or otherwise very hard and looked like it had been scraped off the bottom of the pot. Mushrooms were a bit strong, and they were very conservative with the gravy. Not worth $4.50 at a hawker in my opinion. But at least I brought my own takeaway container!

Food seems fresh and cooked at within apt cooking time - not over or undercooked.

The slightly moist vegetables went well with the fragrant coconut rice. The spring roll was nice and crisp too.

i really REALLY missed cai fan while i was in the States so this made

me super happy hehe. generally this stall has quite a good range of options, and their veggies were really well-cooked! not too soggy which tends to be the case.

p.s. there's now another veg stall in Amoy in the opposite row facing this one

Solid mixed rice meal. Plenty of options, especially if you like mock meat.
