Savoring South Indian Delights: Greenleafs thali was worth the commute
Despite a 25-minute commute, I eagerly

made my way to Greenleaf to satisfy my craving for a #SouthIndianThali meal, and it was worth it! The restaurant’s serene ambience and warm hospitality set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The thali was a true feast for the senses, with rice, #pulioyogare, #sambar, #rasam, #karakozhambu, #keerai, #vadai, #vegetablecurry + pickles and papad.

The portions were just right, allowing me to enjoy the wide variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed. The service was attentive, and though the commute was a bit long, the authentic flavors of the thali made it all worthwhile. Greenleaf is a must-visit for South Indian food enthusiasts, even if it means a little extra travel time.

The most underrated eatery in Singapore.
We discovered it almost 2 years ago n have loved

it.
Simple cafe with no show bizz but the food talks mann.
Its just like homecooked food back home in India. The rotis are the best.and you can request to give just right amount of 🍚 to avoid wastage n can add on later if required.
The sides are served in tiny bowls which is perfect for the portion of rice/roti. No wastage again.
The head staff understands #vegan .
Highly recommend.

A sumptuous South Indian thali meal at the underrated Green Leaf cafe.
7 different dishes

#karakozhambu #rasam #jackfruitcurry #sambhar #keerai #puliyogarai #dal
+ #pappadom #gingerpickle #vadai
+ the #chapati and #rice which are not in the picture
Best way to enjoy this would be to skip breakfast altogether and go straight for this thali for lunch
Just specify you are vegan and they'll not offer curd and payasam which are dairy-based.
Have requested the proprietor to add a vegan dessert option and he will be adding them in the near future.

This thali set is spectacular! It is very flavorful and delicious! They are not using

MSG, preservatives, white sugars, or artificial colours.

Note: Make sure to let them know you are vegan, so they could omit the buttermilk and sweets. But they will provide you with more servings of sambar instead. #veganisnotscary

Typical ghar ka khana.less oil less salt.super helpful staff n guess what they are aware

of #veganism n were very helpful in replacing curd desert with salad n soup for us.@12 sgd isnt that a great deal.oh yes they do not use palm oil!!

A very tasty set meal in a no fuss yet charming Indian restaurant. They can

either make the set vegetarian or vegan. The vegan one was absolutely delicious with tons of different flavours. The owner is lovely and made sure everything was 100% vegan.

South Indian lunch buffet was very filling and tasty. banana stem soup was unique. #crf

The South Indian thali is nice - a good balance of flavours. If you order

it make sure you tell them “vegan” so they will omit the dessert and the yoghurt.

It’s my first time trying thali and I rly love how you get to taste

a little of everything! The papadom was fresh and crispy and the rice was soft and fluffy. I particularly love the snake gourd (outer right) :)

Wholesome.
Cooked with love.
Perfect quantity of sides.
Highly recommended.
Just tell the staff you are VEGAN.n might need

to tell no dairy.
