the owner of Greenhouse Canteen (out of Australia) a couple years ago when she was visiting after first opening the Columbus location. She even came to @sunrisesanctuary She also raised a baby piglet who had spoiled pig syndrome like we did! It was a funny little coincidence.
She invited @gregcombs and I to come try their new #vegan brunch menu a couple weekends ago. We got three menu items plus a Chai latte and everything wa fantastic. These Breakfast Tacos were 10/10 delicious. They're also organic and #glutenfree for those with allergies. They're served with Mole, tofu scramble, sautéed vegetables, fresh avocado, #dairyfree sour cream and hot sauce. They were so flavorful and not to mention beautiful. The hot sauce was spicy, but manageable to me! The beautiful dish is a signature of everything at Greenhouse, is their beautiful presentation. They put a lot of care and effort into everything they serve.
Greenhouse Canteen is a little pricey as it's an upscale vegan restaurant. These tacos were $15, which to be honest is reasonable considering the ingredients used. It's definitely a place for special occasions, like anniversaries, date nights, celebratios etc. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant is also beautiful both during the day and evening. I love the decor including the vegan messages on the walls and and the beautiful plants surrounding the seating. In the evenings the restaurant is candle lit and the perfect romantic date spot. I would most definitely recommend trying their brunch and these tacos!
