‘Steak’ Bomb Sandwich

Seriously the best sandwich ever eaten: according to me AND the 🇩🇪 omnivore. Might vacation

The house-made seitan was pretty close to what I remember steak tasting like, though my memory of it is fading after almost 2 years of being vegan.

The sauteed mushrooms and onions, owl sauce, arugula, and cashew cheez sauce did a good job of rounding the sandwich out. I could imagine this being really delicious with an au-jus-style dip.

This is a really meaty sandwich. I think it does taste really steak-y. I think

the seitan is marinated perfectly to get that flavor. The mushrooms really add to the rich umami flavor as well. The cashew cheese sauce is really delicious too.
