Not only touted as Sydney’s best vegan pizzeria, Gigi’s is also one of the few
pizzerias outside of Italy to be members of the AVPN (or the True Neapolitan Pizza Association).
On my first visit here, I couldn’t go past the Melenzane pizza as eggplant is my favourite vegetable after all. And boy was it absolutely delicious and lived up to all the hype. A burst of all the best Italian flavours… San Marzano tomatoes, tree nut ricotta, grilled eggplant, basil salsa, green vie parmesan, and EVOO. But the star of the dish was the wood fired base! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
