You must understand that Sly the fox went absolutely rabid 🤭 Being surrounded by so

many amazing vegan dishes can be overwhelming! These #fishandchips were amazing! 🐠 Supposedly a soy “#cod” fish, the #veganfish they served actually had a really good flakiness to it. Different to the cheaper types you’d get at most vegetarian stalls, you see where your money going into. RM17 by the way for the serving of #fish, #fries 🍟, a #balsamic salad 🥗, and some tartar sauce 🦃 I should note that the hand-cut fries here are really really good! In spite of its #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease appearances though, this was actually quite lean of fat, perhaps due to their using of a panko batter. It does tend to pick up less grease I suppose 🤷‍♀️ I enjoyed it, and it’s okay if you don’t because your opinion is wrong 💆‍♀️ #foxesofabv #leavethefishinthesea

Breadcrumb coatings are not my favourite but I was just too desperate to resist a

#mockfish order 🤩 Since going vegan, I’d only had 1 or 2 so far… Just look at Sly gettin’ ready to snatch up my share! #foxesofabv 🦊

So… this #deepfried #veganfish did taste almost as dry as it looked. There was still a good amount of moisture to enjoy tho 👍 The seasoning could have been a littleeee saltier but ultimately solid. Its strongest note was certainly texture 💯 I’d describe it as a little bouncier than actual #fish 😛 The #fries were kinda perfect 😆 Both parts of the titular dish were #fried to crisp exteriors with soft interiors 😋

RM17 is not the worst I’ve heard for #fishandchips and this fills you up real good 👌

Just wait for the next stream of reviews… it’s only uphill 📈

Also one of the best vegan cafes in town. The chips/ tartar sauce/ thousand island

are alright, but I was expecting the fish to be other than what was usually served from the local vegetarian eatery. It tasted alright though.
