Abhi’s is very well know amongst locals as the go-to for delicious and award-winning Indian
food. They have a very extensive menu, which includes options for almost every dietary requirement, including a small number of vegan entrées, mains, accompaniments, and sides.
We had to try the aloo matar, a classic Northern Indian curry made traditionally from potatoes and peas in a mildly spiced creamy tomato-based gravy. Abhi’s take on this dish had tender potatoes and butternut pumpkin and juicy green peas cooked in an aromatic sauce of tomatoes, turmeric, kalaunji (onion seeds) and fennel. This dish was sensational! So hearty and full of rich flavour!
