Editor, Copy & Editorial



Content is at the heart of how a company represents itself and engages with its audience, stakeholders and the public at large. Great marketing copy can drive better engagement and help a company achieve business goals. Similarly, strong editorial content can deepen engagement with a community and create reasons for members to return to our site and app more frequently, as well as create interest in us from non-members, who find our content through social platforms and editorial sites.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Editor who is open to working on both marketing assets as well as on editorial content. You should have at least 7 years experience in the media, with at least 3 years as an editor, responsible for shaping content strategy, planning editorial calendars, assigning stories, shaping and enhancing copy. It will be assumed that you are a talented writer and can lead by example

  • Editing and writing marketing copy, including copy for marketing materials, ranging from and including our website, microsites, our app, member emails, marketing newsletter, push notifications, advertising materials
  • Creating ideas for marketing assets such as emails and newsletters to enhance performance
  • Working with the Growth team to study results of these communications assets and make strategic suggestions for improvement
  • Planning editorial calendars for in-house stories
  • Overseeing editorial projects, including assigning work to staff or freelancers and managing deadlines
  • Editing, writing and producing editorial content
  • Studying content results via analytical tools to help determine stronger content strategies that can help achieve business goals
  • Content Curation. Helping to create strategies to best serve in-house content as well as user-generated content to build and deepen engagement
  • Syndication. Manage abillion syndication through platforms like Apple News


  • At least 7 years in media, copy or communications roles
  • At least 3 years as an Editor
  • Ability to write, edit and proof-read quality copy
  • Must have the ability to work fast
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and other analytics tools a plus
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in additional languages is a plus


  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work in teams and autonomously
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff
  • Able to function effectively with ambiguity and willing to take considered risks to achieve cut-through
  • Good organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage workflow and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated passion in the sustainability space is a must
